Mood Weaver ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application Mood Weaver ("the App"). By using Mood Weaver, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide- Journal entries — the text you write describing your mood and daily experiences- Mood ratings — the numerical mood ratings (1-10) you submit

Information Collected Automatically- Device information — device type, operating system version- App usage data — which features you use, session length

Information We Do NOT Collect- We do not collect your name, email address, or any contact information unless you contact us directly- We do not collect location data- We do not collect payment information (handled entirely by Google Play)- We do not collect biometric data

3. How We Use Your Information

Your journal entries and mood ratings are used solely to:- Generate personalized AI scene illustrations via Anthropic's Claude AI- Display your mood history within the App- Improve your in-app experience We do not sell your data. We do not share your journal entries with third parties for advertising purposes.

4. Third Party Services

Anthropic (AI Scene Generation)When you use the AI scene generation feature (Pro users), your journal entry text is sent to Anthropic's API to generate a personalized scene. Anthropic processes this data according to their privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy. We send only the minimum necessary text to generate your scene.

Google Play BillingSubscription payments are processed entirely by Google Play. We do not store or access your payment information. Google's privacy policy applies to all payment processing.

CloudflareWe use Cloudflare Workers as a secure proxy for API requests. Cloudflare may process request metadata. See Cloudflare's privacy policy at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

5. Data Storage

• Your journal entries and mood history are stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage- We do not store your journal entries on our servers- If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data is permanently deleted

6. GDPR — Rights for European Users

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

8. Children's Privacy

Mood Weaver is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it immediately.

9. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data including:- All API communications are encrypted via HTTPS- Your journal entries are stored locally on your device only- We use a secure server-side proxy to protect API credentials

10. Data Retention

• Local data — stored on your device until you uninstall the App or clear app data- API request data — journal text sent to Anthropic for scene generation is not retained by us after the scene is generated- Contact data — if you email us, we retain your email for up to 2 years to handle support requests

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
